With Christmas just around the corner, and holiday excitement reaching its peak, the TTT team is excited about our appearance at the Arrowhead Ice Fishing, Snowmobile and Winter Show at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center this weekend. The last few years Tim and I have attended this show and wandered the aisles making plans for our winter adventures. With vendors from various resorts, the snowmobile manufacturers and many different ice fishing and winter activities, it offers a great opportunity to find some pretty special Christmas gifts for the winter sports enthusiast on your list. ![]() Come visit us at Booth 168 and 169 for a look at our SnoDozer 400, the personal trail groomer. This is a new product category at this show and we are excited to show people our unique technology. LET IT SNOW!!!!
Every year our family looks forward to Thanksgiving weekend. Not only do we get to spend quality time with family and friends and enjoy a fantastic meal together, it also marks the unofficial start of snowmobile season for us for both racing and trail riding. Unfortunately, the event got fogged out for Sunday, but we had a lot of fun while it lasted! This year was extra special as we got just a little bit of snow last week, so we were able to break out the SnoDozer 600 and run it around our property. The snow was heavy and wet as it often is in the early part of the season, and the SnoDozer performed PERFECTLY! A few pics below, or you can stop by our facebook page to check out some video of it in action! We can't wait for more snow so that we can have perfectly groomed trails on our property! Living in Northern Minnesota, we are used to long, cold winters. In fact, our family looks forward to them, Winter brings snowmobile ice racing for the kids, and trail riding for the adults. According to forecasters(, this winter is shaping up to be one of the best in recent memory. A cold December means the ground should firm up nicely so that as soon as the snow hits, we can get out there and start grooming. In fact, we are forecast to get our first glimpse of the white stuff this weekend!
The above pic is from a trip Tim and I recently took to Lake of the Clouds in Michigan. We were able to ride on some pretty fantastic trails, but we did notice that some of the trails could have benefited from a SnoDozer groomer! This year, I think the anticipation for snow has hit our house early. Our boys are anxious to get back to racing, and Tim and I are ready to hit the road to demo the SnoDozer! We have inventory ready for immediate delivery, so if your club is getting excited about the early season, and wants to be ready when the first flakes hit, give us a call. Also, if you are interested in a demo, give me a call or send me an email to be included on the invite list for demos in your area. Tundra Trail Technologies is headed to Vintage Fest this weekend. What is Vintage FEst, you ask? According to their website:
The 2016 Twin Ports Vintage Fest will be held Friday & Saturday, September 23rd & 24th, 2016, at Dusty Flat Speedway, just North of Duluth, MN. What started out more than 12 years ago with a few "Sled-Holics" has turned into one of the largest snowmobile events in Northern Minnesota. We feature one of the area's best compilations of vintage snowmobiles and parts, with lots of exciting racing on our grass track. Sounds like fun, doesn't it? Last year we attended and organized an exhibition only grass oval race for the kids with great success. This year, our focus is on getting the word out about the SnoDozer Series trail groomers. You can check out the event website at: http://www.twinportsvintagefest.com/ With the passing of the first day of school, and Hay Days now behind us, we can start looking ahead to the upcoming SNOW season. So far, the outlook is fantastic for the upcoming season, at least according to the NOAA predictions. The below forecast maps indicate colder than normal temps for the upper Midwest for December-February, and above average precipitation for much of the northern US. This is looking like GREAT GROOMING WEATHER! So call us soon to reserve your SnoDozer for this season. You don’t want to be caught without a trail groomer to allow you to really enjoy smooth groomed trails! FYI- the above picture was taken last year at a KCPRO East race on PIke Lake just outside of Duluth, MN. What a great way to spend time with family and friends and teach kids about the fun of snowmobiling! Precipitation Outlook Temperature Outlook
It was a perfect weekend in North Branch, MN as the Sno Barons hosted their 50th Anniversary Hay Days. It was also the perfect opportunity for the Tundra Trail Technologies team to unveil the SnoDozer Series groomer. Lots of buzz about our handy product was created, and we are looking forward to reconnecting with the folks we talked to this weekend. If you weren't able to connect with us at our booth, please give us a call or drop us a line. We'd love to hear from you!
